Do the things that make you happy! someone once told me if you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got - she meant that nothing will change in you life unless you change it yourself. if you want to be happier then start doing the things that make you happy, reach out for the help you need and be good to yourself. believe me, i've been there and asked the same question myself :) to help yourself feel good naturally then there are a couple of things you can do: 1) getting exercise will create hormones naturally in your body and will help you to feel good 2) get proper rest and sleep each night, it's vital to your wellbeing :) 3) eating well will support your body and mind and help you out, a good diet is vitally important to how you feel! if you're having problems with depression or anxiety then it's important to eat correctly and cut out things like excesses of sugar, caffeine, alcohol and processed foods. if you'd like to know more about it then pick up a copy of new optimum nutrition for the mind by patrick holford, he deals directly with diet and mental health 4) taking a vitamin B complex will help soothe a stressed out nervous system & is imporant for mental health 5) talk to someone, if you need to talk to a therapist (it's really helpul) or at least talk to someone close to you about how you feel, you don't need to suffer alone :) 6) express yourself, get it out of your system, write it down, sing it out, punch a pillow! 7) make the changes you need to feel better, reach out and be proactive, you'll be glad you did i hope this helps a bit, i've been to the very bottom myself and know how bad it can feel xx |
