I have under treatment for depression for many years now. My doctor says you need to believe in yourself to come out of depression. I have been through very touch situations where they made me to believe i am worthless during my teenage. Now this is hitting more badly. My boss (a very kind person) during the quarterly review says you need to be more confident. I also panic a lot if something small goes wrong. I get frustrated easily. I believe this is coming from the depression i have. But doctor says you already have enough antidepressant tablets. Improving my self confidence will greatly improve my life. I wont be panicky, frustration would be greatly reduced and i would living a high life. So some plz give me some tips on how to come out of this depression. |

Try finding a hobby that you can do better than anyone else. Like juggling, it makes me pretty happy, it is pretty frustrating but i think it will help you, so you can learn to control your frustration, if you do get frustrated, just but it down and go do something else from 20 minutes and then try again. I hope i helped. |

Salam (: It's o.k. brother, i've passed by such state, but my life is totally different now -Thanks Allah- A very simple key u've to put in mind: LOVE YOURSELF Yeas, love yourself, appreciate it, and give yourself a reward for things you fulfill, even if it was a simple thing (a chocolate for example) Yourself confidence is like a bridge u build step by step Try to avoid panic when anything wrong happen, you're not a perfect person (put this in mind), so it's normal for unwanted things to happen Read god books about this topic, they're helpful Another Important thing: TRUST YOURSELF what ever happens Try to be a friend for youself, I've done it and it works well :) No one can help you more than yourself BEAR IN MIND, you're the one who determin others' view for you DO NOT care about what others see you, care only about how do you see yourself You're the one who see what GREAT things you can do Be patient to improve yourself-confidence May Allah (God) Bless You Always ^_^ |

Action and feeling go side by side but action which is in more control of our will can be changed but its very difficult to change feeling (feeling of lack of confidence),so you see by what action you increased that feelings.In simple way just act like a confident person see how a confident person reacts to different situation in life and do similar |

Stay busy, when ever you feel demotivated, just engage in anything which make you happy like help others, read good books, go to temple or do anything which is new for you like go on a way which you dont know where it goes-- fearlessly. just think that you have no responsibilities, dont sit alone, STAY BUSY..... |

Find a hobby and pamper yourself a bit. I find that retail therapy is a great way to lift your spirit. Join a club or something and find what your good at! Winning is excellent for boosting self confidence. |
