Question: Can lsd change your life?

I'm 14 and debating whether or not to try acid. I'm leaning more towards trying it at the moment, though my opinion could be easily changed. I've heard that it can change your life; in most cases being in a positive way. I've heard from most people that it really motivated them and caused them to see the world differently. I also know that it has no PHYSICAL effects, it can have very severe, negative psychological effects. If you have had first hand experience with LSD use I'd love your opinion, and if you have, you opinion is still appreciated. *Haven't. If you haven't I still appreciated your opinion.*

I have never had a first experience with LSD but there is no way it can change your life in a positive way. You're 14 and thinking about doing LSD? FAIL!!!

Yes, yes it can. i've personally never tried acid before, but i've tried many other different types of recreational drugs. being extremely, EXTREMELY high off anything can change your life, it's really hard to explain. if you've never gotten real, real high before then you most likely don't know the feeling i'm talking about, but there is a certain feeling you get before, after, and during the experince. i remember one time when i was EXTREMELY high (i'm not telling what the certain drug was, lol) and i was the most content i've ever been in my entire life. if completely felt like nothing mattered, and i felt on top of everything, i felt like i owned the fucking world. i felt like a king. not to mention i could not distinguish the feeling of sitting down and walking, lol, it all felt exactly the same. recreational drugs in my opinion certainly have changed my life for the better.

Yes, if you let it, tripping can change your life; it changes your perception, and opens and expands your mind. you may even get to go beyond your mind, and who knows what you'll find there? as far as i know, LSD only noticeably negatively effects your brain, if you take it alot, over long period of time. from tripping once, unless you overdose or something else goes wrong, you wont have any negative neurological effects. in the way of physical effects, there are ways you are affected during the trip, but overtime, as far as i know, there are no negative effects. if you are in a bad state of mind when you are tripping, you may have a bad trip and then you might be effected psychologically. always trip with someone you know and trust, and remember to relax and put yourself in the right frame of mind to let the drug do its work, and enjoy it. it is your choice, just remember in whatever you choose, to stay informed. if you have any more questions, you can message me if you wish. good luck! -peace

Hey...i tried acid for the first time when i was 16 years old (am 20 now) and it plunged me into a long, DEEP depression. on acid, i had the realization that all is for nought; that we are only "man on land " (that is what i thought while tripping) and that anything i would do would ultimately be meaningless. it depressed me very much for over a year, to the point of suicidal contemplation. to be sure, there were other influential factors, but it was the existential crisis i came to during my trip which plunged me into a horrible depression. eyuchk. also, a visual effect i experienced thereafter was that when i would smoke herb i would have visual trailing, a faint resemblance to what occurs on acid. that lasted a month or longer. in contrast, tripping on mushrooms sparked my appreciation of nature. if i had not tripped on that, i would not know my life's purpose (to become an environmental lawyer). if you do decide to take lsd, do it at a music festival where there is CONSTANT music so that you don't fall into too deep of horrifying introspection. overall, i tripped like six times on shrooms and three times on acid (i think) when i was sixteen and have had no desire to ever repeat it. for me, when i trip i go into a scary place and keep having to remind myself it will be all over soon and all will eventually return to normal. if you are like me--intellectual and introspective, i strongly suggest you reconsider tripping.

Yes, for the worst. I had a family member I never got to meet because he thought he was on fire, ripped off his clothing and jumped out a window, 6 floors to the ground. DEAD!! He took LSD. What are you trying to avoid in your life that requires hallucinogenic drug use anyway? Figure that out, and you won't feel a need to use drugs.

Not a good idea. It's an addictive substance and illegal. Instead, know that God can help you live a better life if you want Him to help you. This is positive and life-changing for the better. You can have a personal relationship with God by saying the prayer below. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. God loves us and sent us His Son, Jesus Christ, so we can go to heaven if we know and follow Him. Forever means without end -- time on and on without death. Forever is what happens after we die. Either we go to heaven and be with God forever, or we go to hell which is very bad and painful forever. The good people who are saved believers in Jesus Christ go to heaven. The bad people go to hell. We need to know and follow God in this world to get to heaven in the next world. We follow God by loving and obeying Him and loving others for Him. Jesus Christ, God's Son, is our bridge to God. Jesus died on the cross to cancel our sins. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God's blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven to be with God forever after we die. This is about being a born-again Christian. Faith in God is a gift from God. You can pray for faith in God. Just speak out and ask God for the faith to believe in Him and to follow Him. Some people find faith in God when they realize the beauty in the world is made by God. Evolution can't explain the world's natural beauty, for example, the parks in the world, animals, flowers, peacocks, sunsets, butterflies, rainbows, etc. After you have your faith on, you can pray a sinner's prayer to be a born-again Christian. This prayer is very important and should be said with a sincere heart and faith in God. This is the prayer: "Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice for our sins. I have done the following sins (state these out) and I pray to discontinue these sins. I pray to receive Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior forever. In Jesus' name, amen. " I'm Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. Maybe you could find a Christian friend who could take you to church with them. You can pray to God about your daily life and have a Christian church pray for you.

I have never done it, so I can't give you any input there....but I will tell you that watching someone get strapped down to a hospital gurney while having a bad trip will change your life...that I can say from experience

It defintely can change your life. In fact LSD has been used to cure alcoholics. But what it can't do is build infastructure. Like education? Character? These are the things you should be aiming at at 14--not LSD. Also, along with the good effects, it can ruin you concentration, create minor or major delusions, etc. People who use LSD are usually a little funky. In the long run it is nothing you can't do without.

Trust me when I say this: IT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE IN THE MOST POSITIVE WAY YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE. Trully. It may not seem like much now, but once your on it and once you've come off it, you'll be trully changed. You will have a new meaning of "self " and a oneness with nature and the universe. While tripping, a cloudless, average star-filled night WILL be solely the most beautiful sight you will ever see. I took a hit of LSD while my best friend was sitting for me, and we became really close after that, I felt bonded like it would kill me inside to not have them in my life. During my trip, I stepped outside and just sat down and watch the stars; and it amazed me beyond belief. It was just what my soul was looking for. It felt like I had left all my worries and cares and just relaxed among the stars. I highly recommend taking LSD at least once in your life to experience it. It really changed me for the better.

Wow...you are younger than my siblings, which makes me feel weird about advising. I like it, but it hasn't changed my life. Shrooms made me view the world differently, but they're actually more intense than acid. As for no physical effects...well...that is not strictly true. Don't do it around your folks, as your pupils will be blown. Like, swallowing your irises. It can make you do crazy shit. I think it's worth it, but have a buddy system, get it from someone you trust, and stay away from your parents. The first time, I tripped for like a legit nine hours, so keep that in mind. Try to be in a controlled environment. Watch your walls melt. Keep an open mind. Enjoy.
